I sometimes read DailyKos. Actually, I read it every day, sometimes its useful, other times its not. In the above, there's a bit of firey discussion going on about how terrible this person's statement is. But apart from the definately-not-so-great-ness of sub-standard products potentially harming american kiddies or whatever, in my very limited knowledge, I kinda think maybe she has a point. I think this has to tie in somehow doesn't it? I wonder a bit about these lefty (perhaps better described as Democrat-y) bloggers, sometimes I get the feeling they want to have their cake and eat it too. They're often all over the place on issues. But who am I, and what do I know?

Ooops, another month has gone by, me ignoring all of the reminders I get that I really ought to put something up here. I guess I don't care enough huh? All is swell, nothing much has changed. Im trying to get better at emailing people. So if you want to know more, try that.

Heh, I was vaguely thinking of criticising the Pixie for not writing anything in her blog for a month, when I actually had to go an check to see if I had done the same thing. And while I can definately say that I posted two things in the month of May, I didn't really write anything. So, now that I am in bed and nicely sated with a dram of Lagavulin, let me try to sum up what has happened in the last wee while...

Yes indeed, Easter is good. But not for the Jesus. Not for the buns. Not for the eggs. Easter is good for the days off work. However, Easter thwarts the goodness somewhat by silly alcohol licensing rules...

Im not sure when I last wrote to you, dearest blog of mine. I think it may have been when I talked about smoked fish. Which would place it nigh on a week ago. Im sorry I ignored the reminders to post something - sorry I broke the rules...

I wouldn't have thought so, but 75 or so crazy people braved the early morning elements to ride their mountain bikes up hill and down dale along the foothills of the Ruahine Ranges, near the town I grew up in...

Yes, this is my third post in one day. The Pixie was telling me how she was looking forward to getting the internets at home so she could catch up on reading this. Which made me feel a little guilty about having nothing to read. So I am working hard...

So tired today, brain refusing to function above bare minimum, that I started saying things like tonight when I meant tomorrow night. Ooops. Yeah so I got my boss panicked about nothing. Hah!..

I haven't read the actual article, but Jo's reproduction of the interview is interesting stuff. And make me think about why I have done all of this in the past, and obviously continue to do it...

Im going to blame Jo's linkoramia for this, because I can...

Feeling a little bit bored, so I took a personality test that SB posted about. Here are the results - 1 & 2. I think its pretty close to being me. What do you reckon?..

My flatmate and I actually met each other some years ago now, when we both moved into Weir House in 1999 as first year university students...

I almost feel like I have failed to live up to my vague resolutions already. Im not entirely sure why, but I've been thinking far too much of late. Its not a good habit at all!..

Happy New Years to any of you who stumble across my corner of the webosphere and bother to click on the clicky things to read my ramblings...

Ok, I thought seeing as there's a good chance I don't get back to this until the new year, I should try to do a quick end of year wrap up. Which I suppose is quite strange because this blog doesn't contain any of the years happenings, so everything will sound quite vague if you didn't know about it already...

I have to say, I am very stoked to be working where I am. Everyone in my team is cool, and they all seem to pull together and get things done, for the benefit and betterment of the team, which is choice...

So I have a job, signed on the dotted line(s). I think its going to be a lot better than my last one. The base pay is pretty similar to my previous salary, except I wont be working 45-50 hours a week...
